What is Laser Genesis?

Laser Genesis is a zero-downtime laser treatment that gently improves skin quality through controlled dermal heating. By gently heating the skin’s deeper layers, Laser Genesis gradually improves texture, tone, and redness—without damaging the skin’s surface.

What is Laser Genesis used to treat?

Laser Genesis is ideal for those with early or mild skin concerns, particularly issues with texture, tone, background redness or flushing (redness that comes and goes). 

A single treatment can be used to improve tone, appearance of pores and redness ahead of an important event, like a “red carpet” treatment. A series of sessions leads to gradual, noticeable improvements, and is especially useful for patients who experience flushing. 

Common uses include reducing facial redness, treating early rosacea, evening out skin tone and texture, shrinking visible pores, and reviving dull skin.

If redness on the skin presents in the form of spider veins and deep background redness, you may be best suited to treatment with Vascular Laser for more significant improvement, with Laser Genesis serving as a maintenance treatment. If you have significant freckling/sun spots, Intense Pulse Light (IPL) is a treatment to consider. 

What can you expect after a Laser Genesis?

Laser Genesis is one of our few treatments that is fully pain-free. It feels like a gentle heat moving around on the skin, not unlike a hot stone massage.
